This course book teaches that clothes and textiles can be made from different materials. Most of them are made from fabrics which are composed by a variety of fibres. Textile fibre is the basic unit of clothing and textiles and each type of fiber has its own properties and characteristics. Usually, they are spun into yarns, woven or knitted into fabrics and then made into clothing and textiles.
